Comments:
Went to the University of Hawaii after school and dragged it out for as long as possible (chichis and the beach seemed better than getting a real job). Also spent a year at SFU trying to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. I finally know........ a lottery winner! Went back to Hawaii and finished my B.A. Worked as an Account Executive in Vancouver for a couple of years and then the travel bug bit me again. I moved to Osaka, Japan in 1990 and became a Geisha. Ok, maybe I taught engrish for two years. While there, travelled all over Asia and am very proficient with chopsticks, I might add.
Moved back to Vancouver in 1992 and got married (so the family would quit referring to me as the spinster). Prince Charming (so I thought) was from Ontario, so off I went to my new home, an igloo. So much for Hawaii!
Worked as a Finance Manager and fit in a lot of travelling. Then in 2001 I packed up the cats and returned to Vancouver. I love it here! Am currently in semi-retirement trying to decide what I REALLY want to be when I grow up.
